An exciting new format for the King of the Docklands event will see the divisional winners of Skandia Geelong Week 2008 line up to compete against each other.

Skandia Geelong Week in 2009 will be bigger, bolder and older as host club the Royal Geelong Yacht Club celebrates its 150th birthday.

The fleet has been announced for the 2009 Skandia Docklands Invitational.

Thirty six boats have been identified and organisers are now seeking expression of interest from these top rated IRC yachts from Australia and beyond.

A weekend of extremes for the Sydney 38OD's sailing in the Docklands Invitational.

The sun was out briefly today for a Super Sunday of sailing for day two of Skandia Docklands Invitational. While the ocean racing yachts raced out on Port Philip, twenty teams of elite sailors also gathered to race in super-slick one-design sports boats as part of the Vectrix SB3 King of the Docklands event.  An impressive first prize, a Vectrix High Performance electric maxi-scooter, provided good incentive for some great competition on the water. 

Hong Kong’s leading yachtsman Karl Kwok loves to race in Australia and today the 1997 Sydney to Hobart winner added the prestigious Skandia Docklands Invitational title to a string of yachting achievements with Beau Geste, his ninth yacht named after the famous French term.  

Flat seas and an inconsistent light breeze greeted skippers and crew on Port Philip for day one of the Skandia Docklands Invitational.

This is the trophy that will be presented to the winner of the Skandia Docklands Invitational!
