| Loki III |
| LOKI will be launched at Christmas this year, with the boat's first event being the Skandia Docklands Invitational.
LOKI is a custom designed Reichel Pugh 63 built at McConaghys in Sydney.
The previous LOKI had a successful campaign in European waters with the following results: 3rd IRC Skandia Cowes Race Week, 4th IRC &1st IRM in Rolex Fastnet Race, 2nd in IRC Maxi class to Morning Glory in Rolex Maxi Worlds in Sardinia. However whilst leading the 2007 Rolex Middle Sea race by over 1.5 hours on corrected time she was lost on the northern coast of Sicily with rudder damage.
After climbing out of a life-raft and Sikorsky helicopter in the middle of the night with nothing but a passport and wet weather gear, Stephen immediately told the crew he would build a new yacht straight away when he returned home.
That was a cause for both celebration and yet solemn reflection on how dangerous yacht racing can be.
Now, with all that behind them, the crew will consist of:
Stephen Ainsworth - Owner 13 Sydney Hobarts, Cameron Miles - Sailing Master/Helmsman - 1999 Etchells World Champion, 2 time Sydney 38 National Champion
The crew will be bolstered in the engine room and grinding department by Olympian Anthony Nossiter whilst on the bow will be Wild Oats bowman Doug Pratt backed up by one design specialist Rus Ely as mid bow.
Trim shall be supervised by the very experienced Allistair Pratt from North Sails Sydney

| Optimus Prime |
| Optimus Prime (OP) is the 3rd ocean racer for owner Trevor Taylor and is a Marten 49 launched in March 2008. Trevor and his crew return to Docklands after competing in the inaugural event on previous yacht Ausmaid, a Farr 47. Through an injury interrupted start, OP has had great success scoring 5 wins from its first 9 races, including a domination of the 2008 Fremantle to Geraldton and return races, a Sydney Hobart qualifying event. OP scored line honours and 1st on IRC for both races, as well as smashing the return race record by just over 4 hours, a record that has stood for 38 years. Skandia Geelong Week is the final stop for OP’s east coast campaign which also includes the Rolex Trophy and Rolex Sydney Hobart. |
